WAITING LIST ...

We have always used a waiting list, whereby potential owners fill out our pretty lengthy questionnaire, we read over it, do some background research then accept any families we feel are the right fit for our pups.

We then get in touch with them when we have a confirmed mating/pregnancy/birth.

The major problem with this system is that we are small breeders. We have one, possibly two litters a year, all being well, but Mother Nature sometimes means this changes and our potential owners are waiting a bit longer. We are ‘hobbyist’ breeders really, but hobby breeders who take it very seriously. We have been awarded the highest number of stars from our council inspection, and are also KC assured and also hold all relevant qualifications. Our records are scrutinised, and so are we - as it should be. We health test all of our girls, we won’t breed from them if things aren’t 100%, and we look for studs that will enable us to produce outstanding pups that are a prime example of the breed. In an ever changing world of people trying to make a quick buck with cheap, badly bred, poor quality dogs, this is something we pride ourselves on.

Our girls are our pets first and foremost. We do not churn out puppies left right & centre, and that will not change. This means that you could be on our list for 2 years plus before your pup comes up. We believe they are worth waiting for, and they are, but many don’t want to wait & that’s fine, but they don’t let us know so we are holding a waiting list that’s not relevant & have then turned away other families as a result.

Therefore, going forward, we will NOT have a waiting list. We have a subscription option on our home page, where anyone interested in future litters is invited to sign up. You won’t be spammed - we don’t have time - but you will be the first to be told about any litters (expected and available) and if you are still interested we can go from there.

We believe that this is the fairest option & will work better for all in the future. We do have a very select number of breeders we can vouch for, and are happy to share details should you want to look elsewhere. We are about community, not competition and have no problem doing this.
